This was an intimate event, giving our attendees the opportunity to expand their networks and bounce ideas off of other seasoned Security & Cloud leaders in the tech community.

Throughout this year so far, we’ve hosted a variety of roundtables with our network where we dive deep into some of the latest challenges, trends and technologies at the forefront of the UK technology scene. Since the pandemic, we have realised just how important in-person networking is and these roundtables are a great way for the team to embed themselves in their specialisms.

Associate Director John Beesley, organised & moderated his first Cloud Leadership breakfast roundtable up in Jaguar Land Rover UK's Manchester offices.

It was a great morning, where we explored a broad range of topics at the forefront of the security and cloud landscape including:

⭐️ The impact and implementation of 'shift left' patterns and what this means for organisation structures.
⭐️ Technical debt & how to communicate priorities to non-tech stakeholders i.e. finance, C-suite.
⭐️ Creating opportunities & pathways for early-career technologists who may be working remotely and have never stood around the water cooler.
⭐️ When it's OK for software to be just "good enough."
⭐️ Are core engineering skills decaying in the face of omnipresent public cloud vendors?
