About the event
In collaboration with AND Digital, Burns Sheehan hosted an exclusive morning of networking and knowledge sharing for Product Design Leaders, with a thought provoking roundtable discussion around creating an inclusive design culture, including:
💡Embedding accessibility into the UX design workflow.
💡Leveraging AI to enrich inclusive design.
💡Tailoring design for neurodiverse audiences.
💡Grasping the impact of intersectionality on design.
💡Applying WCAG standards to boost digital accessibility.
💡Championing accessibility with key stakeholders.
This event was in honour of #GAAD and was centred around designing accessible products and ensuring you are catering for your internal accessibility requirements.
We started with a small empathy lab hosted by Stuart Hull allowing us all to experience the varied challenges users face daily. Followed by a great discussion led by Lee Jeffery, who has helped so much shaping the discussion for the past two events.
Thank you to Llara Geddes & AND Digital for hosting and the attendees for your great contributions, Paul Wilshaw, Lizzie Kelly-Dyson, Becky Walker & Jon Massey 🗣️

Although there is still a lot that needs to be done to get everyone thinking about accessibility, it was really refreshing to hear everyone look back and reflect on how far we have come in recent years and the strides we've taken with inclusivity 🤝
