💼 The Role

We are seeking a Senior Developer with strong experience in software development, combined with some line management experience to lead an experienced, high-calibre team of developers on a major re-platforming project.

You will be working predominantly with React, TypeScript and Node with AWS. The company are currently half-way through migrating from a legacy PHP Monolith into a modern, scalable Full stack JavaScript/Typescript stack, hosted on AWS.

⭐ The Team

You will play a Senior role in an efficient team of talented, cross-functional engineers, keen to learn from you and also share their own methods to help everyone achieve the highest standards. The team works on the 'front door' of the platform, meaning it gets significant traffic and also needs to be worked on with the best practices of security and scalability in mind.

The team is one of 4 crucial development teams in the business, consisting of approximately 8 technical personnel, Teams consist of 8 people with a Technical Lead, a Senior PM, a mix of Engineers, a UX Researcher and Product Designer. Overall, there are around 50 development personnel in the business.
