Agile Delivery Manager | Software Delivery

Driving the agile working and delivery of two software development teams. Managing the delivery process, following agile working methodologies, and project managing work-streams using agile principles.

  • Based in Manchester
  • Up to £60,000 + bonus & wider benefits package
  • Permanent position

Are you looking to be a part of a forward thinking, technology driven, and fast-growing business in Manchester?

How about a business that has transformed dramatically over the past few years. A business which adopted agile working years ago and now has mature agile capabilities. One that embraces continuous delivery and continuous integration (CI / CD), TDD / BDD, paired programming / mob programming, driving a "DevOps" culture.

As part of their growth they're now looking for an additional hire in one of their teams and this could be your chance to join this journey.

They pride themselves in being an "agile" organisation and hence why they are looking for an Agile Delivery Manager who can manage and drive the agile working of 2 of their development squads.

What's involved in the role?

  • You'll work with development & product teams following agile working; you'll support and guide them through all agile events (planning, stand-ups, sprints, reviews, retrospectives etc.)
  • You'll project manage and support the delivery of software development projects. You'll manage the quality of this and motivate the team to deliver on agreed upon targets.
  • You'll work in a CI / CD environment, driving the continuous delivery, implementation and then the ongoing improvement in quality of these process.
  • You'll coach and mentor less experienced team members in best practices and agile.
  • You'll be interacting with senior stakeholders across the business to plan future strategies and to communicate timescales, updates etc.

Please get in touch to hear more.
