Senior Network Engineer - Fortune 250 Company

Burns Sheehan are partnering with Fortune 250 company for the hire of a Senior Network Engineer to assist in the design and implementation of core network infrastructure across EMEA.

This industry leader is looking for a talented Senior Network Engineer who will be developing and improving wireless architecture across an EMEA platform. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will have a substantial effect on the organisation as you will play a pivotal part in the design of the next wave of wireless networking technology to be deployed on a global scale.

The ideal Senior Network Engineer will have:

  • Past experience in the design and implementation of large-scale networks.
  • Experience installing and working with Nexus Data Centre Switches.
  • Extensive knowledge of Cisco networking technologies such as: Cisco Prime Infra Wireless, CMX, Anchors, 3800,4800, High Density, BYOD
  • Experience working with Palo Alto firewall technologies.
  • Extensive experience in deep packet analysis
  • CCIE/CCNP Certifications
  • Experience in network critical analysis and monitoring
  • In-depth knowledge of network troubleshooting and configuration procedures with: BGP, Route Reflection, OSPF.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure
  • A good understanding of Python code.
  • Leadership qualities
