Senior DevOps Consultant - AWS, Azure, APM, Kubernetes - £80,000 - £110,000 + 20% bonus

A world leading International Software company in the field of Application Performance Management (APM) are looking for a Senior DevOps Consultant to build out the DevOps and Cloud practice for the EMEA region, which consists of a team of 5,000 +.

As a DevOps Consultant you will have a substantial effect on how the organization is run, as this is a brand-new role within the organization in a relatively untouched area, so you will play a key part in enticing customer renewals in cloud adoption by driving use cases, advising on Cloud adoption, APM, Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code with a consultative approach. Most of the engagements you will be working on will be completely greenfield, end-to-end digital transformation projects, and you will be working on the client side acting as the Cloud and DevOps specialist.

With this being a new role within the organization, the DevOps Consultant will not be joining a 'finished article' and will be joining it at ground level, therefor will be a contributor to the direction of product and strategies. This organization has huge ambitions for this area, as they are looking at 40 - 50 % growth in the next 18 months, and you'd be a part of this from birth to grave!

The ideal DevOps Consultant will have experience with the following:

• Technical consulting.
• Cloud IaaS providers such as AWS, GCP, Azure.
• Enterprise monitoring systems i.e. Nagios, Elastic and Splunk.
• Container orchestration i.e. Kubernetes and Docker.
• Programming languages (ideally Python).
• Orchestration and automation technologies i.e. Ansible, Terraform.

The successful DevOps consultant will receive extensive training on the bespoke APM software for the first 3 months, so having that experience within APM is good, but not a must have.
