Lead Infrastructure Engineer | Manchester City Centre

  • £400-500 per day
  • 3-6 month contract
  • Help an expanding Fintech business get its infrastructure house in order before their next big growth phase

Infrastructure specialist? Looking for a new project that will add some real value to your CV? Look no further.

One of Manchester's Fintech success stories, based in the heart of the city centre, is in scale-up mode. Following significant investment in 2018 they're further building out their technology team. This is where you come in. They're looking for an infrastructure expert, ideally with some financial services/payment systems experience, to come in and help future proof some of their key systems. From storage and security through to messaging systems, there's a lot of heavy lifting to be done. You'll be their technical authority, building a robust platform they can build from.

You will come from a Windows background and be comfortable working with Windows Server, VMWare, SFTP, AD, etc. Just as importantly, you'll be able to inspire others and ensure that business critical projects are delivered well and on time.

This is a great opportunity to play a significant role in the growth of a business which is going to be a major name in UK Fintech over the next few years. You'll be in good company, working alongside a passionate and highly talented team of engineers who are eager to create innovative, market-leading products.

If you're available to start late-February or early March, click Apply and John from Burns Sheehan will be in touch.

Burns Sheehan Ltd will consider applications based only on skills and ability and will not discriminate on any grounds.
