Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Golang/Python (3 MONTH CONTRACT)
Burns Sheehan are working with an industry changing financial technology business to hire a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to become a part of a newly made platform team headed by an extremely technical and skilled Head of SRE. The team are to become part of the movement in the company to help build a next generation financial platform using some of the latest technologies!
The Head of SRE a revolutionary and cutting-edge Fintech based in Central London are looking for an experienced SRE to join on an inital 3 month contract with a strong probability for renewal. This revolutionary financial technology business are building a next generation, peer to peer digital bank. The mission is to transform the DevOps Engineering practice into a Site Reliability Engineering function, with software development at the heart! You will be working heavily with Golang (Go is the Specific Domain Language within the team) and you'd be tasked with further enhancing their Golang capability within the wider organisation.
On a daily basis you would be working on release engineering - building CI/CD pipelines, securing services in the cloud (AWS primarily, but GCP to be introduced in 2019) and creating GO APIs. You'd also share the responsibility of evolving their complex infrastructure, automating and deploying Kubernetes Clusters to AWS using Terraform. They're huge advocates of Immutable & Congruent infrastructure and utilising the Hashicorp suite.
