DevOps Engineer | 6 month contract | Outside IR35
DevOps Engineer - Kubernetes, Terraform, Linux, Python - 6 month contract (OUTSIDE IR35) - £500 - £510/day
An industry leading utilities start-up based are looking for a DevOps Engineer on a 6-month contract basis, to be made responsible for looking after the Internal Infrastructure platform as well as working on a migration of VM's to Kubernetes.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will have a substantial effect on how the organisation is run, as you will be the technical lead on everything Linux and automation related. You will be working closely with a team of Platform Engineers who are responsible for working on an internal Java based application used for customer messaging and account management, as well as working on a project whereby there are migrating a load of VM's into Kubernetes.
The ideal DevOps Engineer will have experience with the following:
- GCP, AWS or Azure (GCP preferred).
- Kubernetes.
- Terraform.
- Linux & Windows (Linux preferred).
- Python or Bash.
- Systems Administration background is preferable.
