AWS Cloud Architect, AWS Architect, Cloud Architect, AWS Consultant, AWS Cloud Consultant

As one of our AWS Architects you will work on projects of varying duration, complexity and technical environments. You will also have a chance to work with a variety of high-profile customers from several industries. Day-to-day work can be anything from pre sales activity, assistance with customer proposal writing, using best practices to design customer environments, implementing configuration management infrastructure, to taking a step back and giving design recommendations to a technical team.

To be a successful AWS Architect you should

  • Have a background as a system administrator, back-end developer or both. Be familiar with AWS and have experience in setting up everything from single instances to complex managed services. Be an expert in either the Linux or the Microsoft ecosystem. Be familiar with at least one common database technology (e.g. Postgres, MySQL, Riak, CouchDB, MS SQL).
  • Have experience in using and implementing various forms of automation, such as configuration management (e.g. Puppet, Ansible, Powershell, NixOS) and continuous integration services (e.g. Jenkins, Bamboo, Buildkite).
  • We would highly appreciate if you know at least one programming language (e.g. Java, C++, Erlang, Python) and have used it preferably for server backend applications. You should also be familiar with common network components (e.g. DNS, routing, firewalls). It would really make us even more interested if you know some IT security and design patterns for cloud architectures.

This leading Consultancy is a global leader in cloud advisory, automation, and management services. They have 300+ employees across 6 countries working directly with the biggest players in the public cloud industry - AWS, Microsoft and Google - they help companies move their IT infrastructure into the public cloud or start entirely new projects with the intention of utilising managed services as much as possible.

Please send your CV across if you feel that you're a strong contender for this position!
