Senior Front-end Developer




We are currently working with one of Manchester's most exciting software house's who are partnered with some of the highest profile festivals and events in the UK and Europe. If you're a Front-end Developer who loves music and festivals, this could be a great opportunity for you!

The business creates software solutions for the entertainment industry to support and run their events. This is an opportunity to join like-minded individuals who champion technical innovation and who do the simple things well but dare to be different.

They are now looking for an experience Senior Front-end Developer to help drive their ambitious product roadmap, improve the performance and stability of their systems and develop software engineering best practices across the organisation.

What will you be doing:

  • Delivering innovative web functionality using React.js as their primary front-end technology.
  • Build new features with consideration for performance, testability and extensibility.
  • Create Unit, Integration and end-to-end automated tests.
  • Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code working closely with the UX/UI team to deliver on user experience.
  • Build cross-platform, cross-browser reusable apps, components, and libraries for future use.
  • Work on the businesses in house booking and reservation system, build new client specific bespoke features whilst helping to improve the overall architecture for our diverse client base.
  • Encourage innovation and help support an environment to help build an award-winning travel software solution.

What we're looking for:

  • Commercial experience with React.js
  • Good understanding of HTML5+, CSS3 and JavaScript
  • Experience with popular React data structures, context and stage management tools
  • A passion for UX/UI and user usability
  • An understanding of Scrum/Agile methodology
