Senior Software Engineer - .NET
London based- in office
Salary : £100,000 - £120,000
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Data Products team and help turn complex payments data into valuable insights for small businesses. You'll build scalable APIs and backend systems that power analytics and performance dashboards used by thousands of merchants.
You'll work closely with product managers, analysts, and engineers in an Agile environment, contributing to greenfield projects and shaping the architecture for systems that handle millions of transactions.
What you'll do
Build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using .NET.
Design and optimise data models (SQL/NoSQL) for high-volume data.
Develop data pipelines and integrations for accurate, timely analytics.
Write clean, testable code and take part in code reviews and architecture discussions.
What you'll bring
Strong experience with .NET and API development.
Solid understanding of data modelling (SQL/NoSQL, ideally MongoDB).
Knowledge of data pipelines or event-driven systems.
Collaborative mindset and passion for solving data-driven problems.
Nice to have: React, cloud experience (GCP/AWS/Azure), Kafka, or Terraform.
