QA Engineer (Manual & Automation) | Up to £65,000 + Bonus
Location: Hybrid (2 days per week in Central London office with flexibility)
About the Company:
Here at BurnsSheehan, we are please to be partnering with an exciting, forward-thinking company within the Health-Tech industry as they look to revolutionise the medical industry. As they continue their growth they are looking for a skilled and passionate QA Engineer to join the team.
About the Role:
As the QA Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the company's products. You will collaborate closely with developers and product managers to design and implement detailed test plans, conduct both manual and automated testing, and ensure that all deliverables meet the highest standards. You will be instrumental in supporting the team as they develop and release new features, driving the quality of the platform forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for software products and infrastructure.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites
- Conduct thorough product specification reviews and perform data validation checks.
- Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality.
- Perform post-implementation and post-release testing to ensure smooth operation.
- Maintain and update project documentation as needed.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in QA within a commercial software development environment.
- Strong understanding of both manual testing techniques and automation tools.
- Experience with UI testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
- Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL (ability to perform queries, including joins).
- Experience in testing non-functional requirements such as performance and security.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and integration with test automation.
- Basic understanding of Python and JavaScript (TypeScript) is a plus.
- Exposure to AWS Cloud services is a plus.
