We're currently partnered with an award-winning media platform, with notable investments and a special partnership with a leading global media organisation. Their journey started in 2017 when the founders saw the need to provide content for the tech startup landscape and since then, they have made a significant impact within their industry.

Since their journey began, they have expanded their platform over the years, including the traditional newsletters and have recently introduced a premium subscription service for their users which is growing on a daily basis.

As the business continues to grow, they are now looking for Lead Engineer to join their growing team. If you're an experienced Senior Engineer who is ready to take the next step into a Lead Engineer role or currently an experienced Lead Engineer who wants to join an exciting and growing business, then this role is for you!

What will you be doing:

• Support and lead the engineering team by adopting an environment that is motivating and committed to encourage extensive collaboration between engineering and the wider teams
• Be involved in the full software development lifecycle which will include analysis, design, coding, testing and deployment
• Design, develop and implement web applications and mobile applications within a JavaScript tech stack
• Develop and design internal and external APIs/Restful services for integration
• Lead on best practices when designing systems architecture and applications to ensure robust, scalable and high quality solutions
• Create and execute unit-tests and performance analysis processes
• Work closely with the Product Management team to participate in design and planning

What are we looking for:

• Experience within JavaScript, TypeScript, React/React Native and Node.js
• Be able to demonstrate experience mentoring and coaching engineers
• Good understanding of object-oriented design concepts
• Good understanding of version control and release management
