Burns Sheehan is once again working with a trusted client as it looks to expand its technology function. Since 2019 we have helped them to identify numerous key hires, and we now have the opportunity to recruit for one of them; their Lead QA Engineer. If you're still in the early phases of your career in technology and have a passion for quality, this is your chance to join a well-oiled team and learn from technologists who've achieved seriously impressive results throughout their careers.
Your role as a Junior QA would see you getting to grips with a market-leading eCommerce platform which services a portfolio of clients you'll recognise and probably want to get involved with. Demand for their services has shattered the proverbial roof and there is recognition throughout the business that QA is going to be key to their future scaling plans.
Duties include:
- Work closely with the Lead QA Engineer and wider Engineering function
- Play an active role within scrum meetings
- Manage progress against own goals and report/escalate accordingly
- Identify and respond to defects
- Creating documentation and user manuals
About you:
- Commercial experience in a manual testing role.
- Automation knowledge would be a bonus!
- Strong communicator & desire to learn.
