Java Tech Lead - A prestigious technology company is looking for a Java Tech Lead for an important platform build. They have embarked on a re-platforming and are hiring a team who can hit the ground running to improve an existing platform and bring it in line with the high standard of their current UK platforms. You will be responsible for leading a team in the design and build of a new microservices based solution, offering mentorship and support to the team while guiding them in software engineering best practice.
Java Tech Lead - Tech Stack/Environment - Java 11, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, TDD, Scrum, CI/CD
As a highly skilled Java Tech Lead you will be expected to have:
- In-depth experience of designing and building large-scale, distributed systems.
- Extensive knowledge of Java 8/11 microservices, including SpringBoot.
- Excellent understanding of Cloud-based architecture, preferably with AWS.
- A dedication to software engineering best practice including TDD/BDD and CI/CD.
- Experienced of working in cross-functional teams, focusing on product delivery in an Agile environment.
