Test Analyst
Once a fortnight in Warrington - otherwise remote
Up to £40,000 + 20% Bonus
An Investors in People Gold award winning business and Microsoft Gold Partner, based in Cheshire, are looking for a test analyst to oversee the successful implementation smooth running of a blend of world-leading COTS products. They are a joint venture between two of the UK's largest financial institutions in the lead with 40% market dominance providing software for forecasting and optimising their customers decisions.

The ideal candidate will have -
- Valid, evident software testing experience.
- Exposure and understanding of different Agile methodologies, tools and techniques.
- A good appreciation of Quality Control and Configuration Control processes.
- SQL and general Windows server environment experience.
Responsibilities will include -
- Producing Test Plans and Scripts for functional integration and performance testing of applications, databases and infrastructure builds.
- Presenting documentation for assessment via quality gate reviews
- Ensure that any risks associated with the agreed test strategy/test plan are clearly documented and awareness is raised with the clients/users as well as colleagues.
- Being required to complete all testing milestones on time within a project
- Recording and managing defects, as well as working with developers to help investigate the causes of these defects
- Maintaining control of test environments
- Identifying opportunities to import the testing process
