Role: Product Owner

Salary: Up to £55,000 + package

Location: Middleton, North Manchester - Hybrid working model - Once a week on site

This opportunity boasts the chance to work for a household name across the UK, especially within the Automotive industry - aside from them having a jingle you'd recognise anywhere and a national treasure in their adverts! Their presence in the tech world is becoming more and more of a front runner within Manchester! The customer base they built up over the years led to, 2013, 30% of all cars sold through auction being from them. In that same year, they were acquired by a large UK auction business, as they wanted their cars sold exclusively through them rather than through their competitors.

Now, they have the second largest market share in the used car market at 4%, the rest go to part exchange or through their main competitor. Even at 4%, they acquire 9000-10,000 cars per week and sell across up to 20 auction sites.

About the role & the ideal candidate

They are looking for a Product Owner who can sit part way between the marketing team and a team of developers. Managing conversations and meeting needs of both teams.

A Product Owner with a more marketing leaning background, would naturally be best suited for this role. Overall, they are wanting someone who has communication at the heart of everything they do, and wants to come in an approach a new challenge, with real drive and enthusiasm to positively contribute to the business.

Good knowledge of agile and agile methodologies would be advantageous. Your main product and focus would be on the website, and general customer-centric output, so experience within an e-commerce environment would be ideal! Previous use of Google Analytics is desirable but not essential by any means.
