Recruiting this role:

Thomas Barnes

Thomas Barnes

IT Support Analyst / Manchester / up to £35,000

We are working with an innovative technology platform in the music and events space

No! You don't have to be a festival goer to work here, but if you enjoy live events, it certainly helps. The business I'm working with creates dynamic and versatile solutions to clients wanting a flexible event - not just a one size plug-in. They cover everything from booking tickets (chances are you may have used their platform already without knowing) through to the provision of bespoke yurts at live events, a complete solution for large events.

Here you'll join a product team within the technology department, supporting product whilst also having your finger on the pulse of how the product will be operated by the end user, identifying, and sharing areas for improvement and ultimately providing the link between the in-house development team and the user experience.

  • Ability to bring a level of customer service to the technology team, communicating with users, and paying attention to concerns, providing clear and regular updates for ongoing requests.
  • Familiar with supporting online software with a technical proficiency and being able to convey sometimes complex requirements into layman's terms.
  • Troubleshoot issues with products, developing solutions yourself where possible but also knowing when to escalate the problem onto other team members.
  • Contributing to product development with ideas, suggestions, or initiatives as you will have your finger on the pulse of how our users are interacting with the product.
  • Identify gaps in the current support systems and develop or improve how our products are supported.

Benefits: Opportunities to work and attend festivals, a culture that nurtures creativity and passion, regular social events.
