Senior Security Analyst

Burns Sheehan has partnered with a globally renowned engineering firm as it looks to expand its information security footprint. We are looking for a Senior Security Analyst who will work closely with the existing team of six & CISO. Your knowledge & skill will facilitate the operations of a highly successful engineering consultancy which delivers major projects across the world.

What you'll bring with you: as a Senior Security Analyst you will be empowered to make critical decisions in response to incidents of varying degrees of severity. You will ideally have several years' experience within a SOC environment and possess experience and exposure to a range of security tools. The business has a varied IT estate and caters for thousands of engineers & specialists across the globe, so a tech-agnostic approach is key. Exposure to both Windows & Linux platform is key, as well as a thorough understanding of relevant security standards and frameworks.

Working patterns: this is a hybrid role centred around the Warrington office. The expectation is for 2-3 days per week on site. The nature of the company means international travel on a quarterly basis is likely.

Salary & package: basic salary up to £65,000 plus market-beating company pension contribution, 25 days holiday.
