We are currently on the search for a Project Manager, who will be brought in to manage and oversee the progression of projects in an ever-evolving environment, across both hardware and software. You will join a recent equity backed business looking to rapidly grow and continue to build upon their success across the UK, Ireland, Nordics, Benelux and Spain.
About the role:
- The role will involve a lot of communication, both internally and externally, working with the likes of mobile network operators, and alongside internal teams within the business, coordinating and bringing different elements together.
- A large element of the role will be feeding back into the business in order to track on deliverables and corroborate many moving parts and interactions.
- Your focus will be ensuring that developments advance adequately between different systems and across third party software to create solutions.
- Helping the business in general progress with their transition from more long-standing projects, to focusing on IoT centred developments.
- You will be required to develop a good understanding of how client's devices work, and in general, possess excellent attention to detail skills.
The ideal candidate:
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills. A large part of your role will involve relaying information, so this is crucial.
- Experience within a telecoms-oriented sector is advantageous, but not essential, as long as you have a full understanding of and experience with delivering on projects end-to-end, industry knowledge can be picked up by someone with the right level of enthusiasm.
- Capable of driving activity within teams, someone with a real spark and motivation to go above and beyond, rather than merely deliver what is expected.
- Has a real appetite for new technology, in an environment with a good mix of progressive hardware and software.
- Can demonstrate evidence of or speak to occasions when they have managed, perhaps in the face of adversities, to hit deadlines.
