Cyber Security Analyst

Burns Sheehan is working with a thriving professional services organisation with a key hub in Liverpool City Centre. The business has been growing steadily and currently stands at over 1,000 employees across the UK. 2023 has been an exciting year for their technology HQ, with several new roles created across tech leadership and increased headcount throughout their teams.

Next on their agenda? An experienced Cyber Security Analyst who will join a rapidly growing infrastructure & security team! We have thoroughly enjoyed working with the business this year and our placements have spoken incredibly highly of the culture & environment they have joined.

ABOUT YOU

• Basic knowledge of developments in security technologies and their applications.
• Basic understanding of Network Infrastructure and Network Engineering topics.
• Knowledge and understanding of the general principles, practices and technologies of Information and Digital Security.
• Experience working with:
• Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) solutions
• Firewall/Web Content Filtering solutions.
• Federated Identity Solutions for cloud/SaaS applications.
• Active Directory.
• Web server software such as Microsoft IIS.

This will be a hybrid role with an office in Liverpool City Centre. The working idea is two days per week on site.
