Director Of Engineering

Burns Sheehan are currently partnered with a market leader in consumer saving with over 800 business partners and serving over 24m users per month helping to save UK users Billions.

You’ll be responsible for the delivery engine at the heart of the business with an engineering team of 40 currently with a view to growing to 55 and line managing 3 Senior Engineering Managers. Responsible for ensuring high performance of teams, directing and building communication across these teams.

As the Director of Engineering you will;

• Collaborate with multiple teams to drive strategy, ensuring high performance
• Support and mentor Engineering Managers, driving culture and collaboration, ensuring any performance issues are dealt with quickly, fostering a healthy feedback culture
• Ensuring teams are organised effectively, having the right person in the right position
• Add value to the wider engineering community, breaking down dependencies
