Are you a Data Scientist looking for growth route within a highly successful and already well oiled data team?

This would be your chance to be the companies third data scientist, with a clear development route as this area of the team grows. The Data Science and more importantly the machine learning function is growing and you will be responsible for developing and implementing novel machine learning solutions that enhance and accelerate our key business operations.

You will collaborate closely with stakeholders from Commercial, Operations, and Marketplace teams to understand their requirements, develop domain knowledge and a deep understanding of our data, then create robust machine learning models to drive key business objectives. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in machine learning to a diverse range of business applications in a successful and rapidly growing tech scale-up.

What will I need?

• A solid track record of building machine learning (ML) models in Python that translate data into actionable insights.
• Curiosity for understanding the factors that drive behaviours and trends within the data and have a investigational approach to extract data insight from data
• Experience of developing machine learning solutions in a cloud environment, understanding of software engineering principals
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to translate understandings to people within the business

Technical skills

• Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scipy)
• Machine learning modules (Tensorflow or Pytorch, Scikit-Learn).
• LLM experience would be nice to have!
