We are currently working with a multimillion pound business who are also one the UK's largest retailers within their sector. They are looking to expand the team and give people the opportunity to bring new ideas. You will need to be passionate about data visualisation, experienced in developing Power BI dashboards and building the data models for them, as well as being driven to support the other members on the team in contributing to the improvement of the business.

Your role

  • Support the development of the reporting roadmap accessed via Power BI
  • Advise on visualisation and processing improvements to requested dashboards.
  • Collaborate with product owners and analytics development manager.
  • Ensure integrity of information being shared by highlighting data quality issues.
  • Support the Group Data Scientist on both large strategic and tactical quick win projects.
  • Take active role in the training and development of the wider analytics community across the business.
  • Promote the developing data culture within the business, being a champion for the value of data in our decision making.

Key Skills/Experience/Behaviours

  • 5+ years' experience in data analysis
  • 2+ Years Power BI experience
  • Some experience of modelling, data mining, machine learning, and data visualisation and related software (e.g. R, Python, SAS, SQL) desirable
  • Highly analytical, able to translate large volumes of data (both quant and qual) into actionable insights.
  • Able to work at a fast pace across multiple projects and streams with a bias for action.
  • Results driven problem solver, you deliver high quality work and overcome setbacks.
  • Enthusiastic about disrupting the status quo.
