About the event

One of the recurring themes in the engineering world is the challenge of sustaining high performance while maintaining team wellbeing. Leaders are continually tasked with driving growth and innovation while ensuring their teams are not overstretched or burnt out.

We hosted an informal discussion around the importance of defining and measuring high performance, both at the individual and team levels and exploring strategies to challenge teams to grow without compromising their mental and physical wellbeing. This event was designed to foster a candid exchange of ideas on how engineering leaders can balance the drive for results with the care their teams need to thrive.

Hosted at Matillion's HQ in Salford, we brought together Engineering Leaders from organisations of varying sizes and sectors including: BBC, Betfred, Citibank, Flipdish, Quantium, Uinsure, Informed Solutions, Max Contact & Datalex. Attendees shared challenges, experiences, and best practices surrounding sustainable high performance, growth, and leadership.
